Devin Vinson

Devin has been working on the web since he was a teenager. He started out in the early days with Frontpage, Dreamweaver and creating simple sites for local businesses. This eventually lead to working with WordPress and getting in to creating custom themes and solutions for his own small freelancing business. After 8 years solo he joined a WordPress VIP agency where he was able to apply that same skillset to offer solutions to world class enterprise customers including Disney, Pardot, Recode, and more. He eventually switched to Product Development and joined the team at Awesome Motive to work on the Popup product OptinMonster. While at OptinMonster he added features to their WordPress Plugin, handled reworks in three different major product revamps, and even lead the migration of their builder to a new react based drag and drop builder. This turned into a leadership position where he lead the product team for just under 2 years before he was asked to take the Lead Developer position on a newly launched product called TrustPulse. As Lead Developer of TrustPulse Devin was charged with growing the SaaS to profitability by applying the product management lessons learned from the Awesome Motive leadership team. This included deep dives on customer success gaps, understanding product challenges, marketing, and conversion rate optimization. Devin believes in 'Never Stop Learning' and freelancing provides an amazing avenue to ensure that continues. By finding key freelance projects throughout his career Devin has found success in keeping a pulse on development best practices. While he continues to grow in product management he enjoys deep dives in react projects and helping businesses succeed with their web based development needs.
